Q.No.343
If industrial pollution continues to deplete the ozone layer, the resulting increase in ultraviolet radiation will endanger human health, causing a rise in the incidence of skin cancer and eye disease, and perhaps even threatening global ecological systems.

(A) and perhaps even threatening
(B) and may even threaten
(C) and even a possible threat to
(D) as well as possibly threatening
(E) as well as a possible threat to

OA is B , can any one explain me why ?

Above Sc check parallelism between
ultraviolet radiation -> endanger human health -> skin cancer
-> eye disease
-> may even threaten global ecological systems

How the option B is parallel

PLEASE MAKE A USE OF SPOILER WHILE WRITING OA.THANKS !

Here we need to maintain parallelism between 1) endanger & threaten
Hence threaten should be in its original form.
We can see only in option B, threaten is in its original form.
Hence it is B.
