Dear experts, can you please take a look at my profile and see if my goals are realists?
academic:
GMAT: 770 (Q51 - 98 V44 - 97) 99 taken today, first try
AWA: don't know yet
GPA: (pretty low, I actually do not have a converted GPA, my university does not use it)
Work:
3.5 years
Role: Senior engineer
At the begining of 2012, my company prompted and relocated me to USA to setup a new team here, however, I am not a manager but a technical expert
area: industry automation and manufacturing
Extra curricular activities:
engineers without boarders (student project, designed photovoltaic systems for less developed countries)
country of citizenship: Australia
Why MBA:
After working as an engineer for a few years, I think it is time for me to move on to a different role. I am looking into consulting as a future option, management and project consulting for manufacturing sector to be exact.
My targets:
Initially, I was going to apply BU or BC part time mba, however, after careful evaluation, since I am looking for a career change, I decided to go for a fulltime degree and studied extra hard on gmat. With a higher than expected gmat score, I want to try to apply
HBS, Sloan, Kellogg, Stern, Wharton also BU and BC fulltime.
Last but not least, is it too late to apply for 2012? Should I wait for 2013?
I really appericiate any inputs.
Best Regards
