That's what I am going to do if I don't get a good enough score for Top 15 schools. My back up plan is a part time mba from ASU, but I got my Bachelors from there, so it doesnt sound half as exciting as getting an MBA from a Top 15 school.
I am done with OG12 Quant section, still have half of Verbal left though.
The scholarship angle is the main reason I'm committing to do the best for a good score. Emory is heavily subsidized by Coca Cola (their business school is named after one of their past CEO's who gave them a huge grant), so they give out some pretty good scholarships, but I'm not sure how good they are for part-timers. My understanding is that Georgia Tech doesn't offer any at all to part-timers.

I'm just going to throw it out there and see what happens. Que sera, sera.

Being defeated is often only a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent.

the assumption here is that you aren't wasting a day of studying if it's not sticking.. ;-)

when are you taking the GMAT? I can see how you can come up with a CR-like response in a conversation like that :)

I don't have an exam date scheduled yet. and I'm also not going to tell anyone when I do schedule it, because I don't want all of the distraction of "good luck" messages. Not that I don't appreciate them but when you get 5-10+/day it does more harm than good. I got too wrapped in that last time. So one day I'll simply post my score on here! :-)

and yeah when I typed that messaged I chuckled to myself, but that's how I think nowadays!
