Right on Dana - I started this thread to point out the flaw and it kinda took on a life of it's own. Please lock it since the BTG staff are aware of the issue - further discussion is pointless.

Rightly said. I accede with DanaJ and respect her comments. We shouldn't forget the real purpose of being here on this forum.

I 'liked' the Nature vs Nurture article, but did not receive any points. There was no sign post at the top of the page. Please help!

just concentrate on reading posts and learn so that it would help you in future...

Also points doesn't matter a lot here....as last week none of the top scorers won a single prize....so the game is on , ur luck should be on your side and you can even bag all the 4 prizes with just 4 points in ur hand...

well there was around 16-18 hours gap between those two posts.
I thought things will be corrected in those 16 hours,but infact it was not.So,i had to write those(as practically it effected me).

If it were corrected,it would not have affected anybody but since it was not it effected me atleast....i lost 1 like and it has moved me to 16th position from 13th may be....(so very tuff competition going on......difference of 1 point making huge difference now)

I edited my earlier post,because i felt like what ever i say now is considered as complain now(..."oh this guy always only complains......and ruinis the whole things....he doesnt admire the our hardwork") and may be giving my wrong impression.So i really dont want to be like that and hurt the game organizers at least as it is benefitting to large numbers of people(ok no problem not for me for now but never mind).So,i felt like, it was taken as complaint by moderator so i edited and removed it.I dont want to give wrong message to game organizers or dishearten them for their great efforts.I salute them for their great work.

so edited it.(but players table score has still some disparity and 4th week score is still not shown i guess.Any way never mind.Hope it will corrected.(Not a complaint).As for it doesnt effect anybody as total score in increasing in normal way)

So not much in detail.
While practicing Verbal for gmat,in many occasion i have felt that especially in CR there can be more than 1 correct answer or OR either among the contenders(means best 2 or best 3) can be proven as correct answer(not in all but in many cases of verbal....).Sometimes even in RC,SC.
So,it is JOKE only that if lawyer really fights arguing why 'contender' cannot be correct option,he may infact win...lol....
so just a thought.

It's been a huge learning experience for us on all fronts - technology, process and business. We've never done anything like this game before. And we've certainly never tried to distribute almost 700 prizes in 5 weeks before.

Oh, here's one final note. The problem with the Nature vs. Nurture bonus was that Eric entered the bonus item but then forgot to add the like and share points. And so no one was able to like/share that article. And so no one got an undue advantage for that article.
