Hi everyone,

I'm applying to MS Accountancy programs in California. I've taken the GMAT twice now - 1st time I got a 510 (65% Verbal, 20% Quant), 2nd time I got a 500 (66% Verbal, 19% Quant).

The director of the program from one of the schools I applied to called me up and told me they cannot accept me with this low of a score. I then told them I would be willing to take an intensive prep course and asked if they could let me take it one more time. They agreed and I signed up for the Manhatten GMAT's 9 week prep course.

I need to be in the 50th percentile in both Math and Quant. to meet the admissions requirements. I just took the Manhattan GMAT's online assessment and yet again, scored 65th percentile on Verbal, 19th in Quant.

The Quant. is actually really surprising that I have struggled so badly. Back in college I took 2 semesters of Calculus and got an "A"s. I've also really excelled in accounting classes.

I've now signed up for a 9 week course and I hope I can get past 50% in quant. and post a "I beat the GMAT" thread in a couple of months :D
