At first place it seems to be a combination question.

But it is question of Factorization & primes.

Lets say 10 red color chips and 20 green color chips are chosen.

We get

(10)*11*(20)*5*(1)*8=88000

What am I missing? Why should I bring 2 to 8, I can bring that 2 to green balls as well right??

No, because we already know the value of the green chips (5 points each). Since 5 doesn't divide by 2, 2 points can't be a factor of any green chip.
