New slogan for Beat The GMAT!

Expert replies
by beatthegmat » Sat Dec 23, 2006 10:23 pm
I've changed the slogan for Beat The GMAT! It's now:

A GMAT and MBA community service project.

I think that this new slogan more accurately describes the mission of this website--to make the world a better place through uninhibited, open sharing of knowledge. Beat The GMAT! is the only GMAT & MBA forum on the Internet that strives to provide its users with as much high-quality, free resources as possible; we do not charge users for "special access" or try to upsell you to paid services here--in fact, we give money back to YOU whenever possible by investing all profits into scholarships.

Hope you guys agree with the change. I look forward to building this project with you all for 2007 and beyond!

Side note: I've come up with a great buzz word to describe this online Web 2.0-ish project: Community Service 2.0. Pretty catchy, eh? You heard it here first!

The main reason for the rebranding is that changing the name is better for search engine optimization.
