In order to maintain parallelism, the sentence needs to say for
the farmer who takes care to keep them cool...
provided...and
milked. Eliminate A, B and C.
In D, the plural pronoun
them doesn't agree with the singular noun
cow. Eliminate D.
The correct answer is
E.
