I rather agree with Abhi on this point. Absolutely no question is foolish or immature.
when you answer such an innocent question, many aspects of you and your school comes out. I never asked anyone about hard data but I generally asked about their own feelings about job, career change, school support etc. How he/she feels and why he/she feels that way.
It is unbelieveable for me to digest that current students has absolutely no idea about job status of their fellow students/cohorts or how the school helps them. The reason can be
a. They are really cluless
b. They are arrogant and don't want to share anything
c. Their school is not doing anything meaningful to mention
whichever way, it is not a good signal for me.
A helpful alumni network is more important than the so called ranking by another commercial institution.
