- GMAT: 710
-VP of Beta Alpha Psi
-good volunteer activities
-worked 25/hr throughout school to support family.

WE (32 months upon mat.):
Senior Auditor (middle market international accounting firm, 5th largest here in Houston)
-promoted 3 times in 2 years.

Based on my profile if I decide to apply this year, what school should I be competitive at? sweet spots?
I am thinking of applying to following schools
Columbia, Chicago,
Cornell, Yale,
UTexas, NYU?

Any chances?

hey j,
thanks for your post. overall, i think you have a solid background and are likely competitive for many of the schools listed below. Columbia and UC might be a stretch, but you have all the basis covered to be a strong candidate for those schools.

glad to hear you are thinking early about the application process. I would strongly recommend for you to apply in the first round. And since you will be overseas (I am assuming for a few months or more), you might consider taking a trip to visit some of the schools mentioned. Its not a make or break decision to visit schools, but I think it always helps to get a sense of the program (even though it is summer) and campus.

let us know if you have any more questions along the way!
