Why not E? It clearly states that profit is greater in that case. I m confused between the approach for Assumption type questions and Strengthening the argument. Are these the same.

Could one of you elaborate.

e. The profit from selling 5 bunches of radicchio for the price of 4 will be greater than the profit from selling 5 jars of peach marmalade for the price of 4.

Okay, everyone agree that the profit of radicchio is greater, but it is not necessary. The vendor still can raise the sale even if the profit of radicchio is less than the profit from selling jar. This choice is strengthen. Not assumption.
