Several financial officers of the company spoke on condition that they not be named in
the press reports.


A. that they not be named
B. that their names will not be used
C. that their names are not used
D. of not having their names
E. of not naming them

Not sure even how to start, but somehow I feel B is better.

And I read somewhere that will could be used in the conditional if there is a mutual understanding involved,
as in "I will clean the table, if you will wash my clothes".

Experts, Please clarify whether this is a correct usage.
