I'm presently considering to join a one-year program at a top-ranked b-school such as IMD (MBA) or LBS (Sloan MSc) in order to be best prepared for new career opportunites in the internet/technology space. I'm 34 yrs old, have got a B.Sc in International Management, 10+ years of international experiences, and managed teams of up to 50 people in the US and EMEA in product management and business development.
How would you compare the two programs with another? I guess content-wise the curriuclum is somewhat similar, and soft-skills/personal development is integral part of both programs, too. Though there is plenty to find about the MBA programs, it seems a bit difficult to learn more about the Sloan Fellowship programs, and to get first hand information. There is hardly anything posted apart from the b-school's own websites.
Given my background, does it make sense to consider a Sloan program or is it somewhat "exotic" and I should rather go for a regular MBA program?
Your input is greatly appreciated!
