Line l is defined by the equation y - 5x = 4 and line w is defined by the equation 10y + 2x + 20 = 0. If line k does not intersect line l, what is the degree measure of the angle formed by line k and line w? (Assume that all lines lie in one coordinate plane.)

Slope of the line l = 5
slope of the line w = -1/5
Slope of the line k = 5

since slope of k* slope w = -1 they must intersect at right angle

slope of y - 5x = 4, m= 5
slope of 10y + 2x + 20 = 0 --> y=-1/5 x -2 , m' =-1/5
so two lines are perpendicular to each other....
now line k does not inersec l i.e. it is parallel to line l and hence perpendicular to line w....Ans4
