Sri,
Is ans E ?

This is how I did,
Perimeter of Square is 4*100 =400
Perimeter of square is 2*3.14*r
where r = d/2(d= 100) =50
so Perimeter of square =2*3.14*50 =314

400-314 = 86
Hence ans is E

Uva.

Indeed, the answer seems to be {E}

Side of Square = 100
So, radius = 50
Circumference = 2 * pi * 50 = 100 * 3.14 = 314
Perimeter = 100 * 4 = 400
Difference = 400 - 314 = 86

Hello Uva,

Thanks for your reply. You are right. The answer is E. Thanks for the explanation. I rounded 3.14 to 3. I think that's where I was going wrong. Thanks again.

Best Regards,
Sri
