OA is A. I somehow got it. But my doubt is, What does IT refer? The OE says, IT refers to Language. But Language is not appeared alone. Its comes within a phrase (distinguish between Language and sublanguages). So, I feel that nothing is correct in the given choices. Pls help me understand.
IMO C.
B, D and E are out due to the use of "them" as language is singular.
A creates an awkward construction by saying "have tried to count typically".
OA plz.
