one ques...
Let say there is no redundancy ..... i.e. it only saying 'enough' in place of 'sufficient enough '
then which option you go for.....
i have seen such ques earlier...
point is to select 'which' VS 'with'....
thanks!

Unlike the short flights of the shuttle and earlier spacecraft, which carried sufficient power in fuel cells and batteries, a permanently orbiting space station will have to generate its own electricity.girishbtg wrote:Good Observation...!gmat_perfect wrote:The answer is between B and D.

A: the short flights of the shuttle and earlier spacecraft, which carried sufficient power in fuel cells and batteries
B: the shuttle and earlier spacecraft, with sufficient enough power in fuel cells and batteries for their short flights
C: the short flights of the shuttle and earlier spacecraft, which enabled them to carry sufficient enough power in fuel cells and batteries
D: the shuttle and earlier spacecraft, which were capable of carrying sufficient power in fuel cells and batteries for their short flights
E: the flights of the shuttle and earlier spacecraft, whose shortness allowed them to carry sufficient power in fuel cells and batteries
The issue:
Enough can be used in the following ways:
1. Enough to VERB.
2. Enough XX to VERB.
3. Enough for X.
Example:
This is enough to do the work.
I have enough money to buy a car.
This enough for me.
BUT
Enough XX for something is NOT correct.
AND
Enough XX to do something --is CORRECT.
In this sense, option B will be incorrect even if "sufficient" is omitted from the "sufficient enough"
About the issue of "with" and "which"
Both the with and which are okay. You will NOT be given choices that should be selected on the basis of the split between "with" and "which". There will be another obvious error in any one of them.
