Hi All,
I took the GMAT on August 9 and obtained a score of 650 (V40 and Q39). I have about 2 years and 3 months of work experience in the Compliance and Secretarial field. I qualified as a Company Secretary in 2010 (became a member in 2012). I was the editor of my college magazine. I scored a first class in my 3-year B.Com programme (completed from the Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai). I am presently pursuing ICWA and I have one more group left to complete ICWA Final. I am not working at the moment.I plan to retake the GMAT on September 25 in the hope of improving my GMAT score. I am aware that a candidate's work experience is an important factor considered by the Admissions Committees of top end B-schools and am a little concerned about the fact that my work ex is on the lower side.I wish to pursue an MBA from a reasonably reputed college in the United States. I have been to 2 counsellors so far who have not recommended good colleges for me to apply to. I am a little confused and frustrated at this stage.I would like to know whether I can reasonably think of applying to any decent colleges since MBA programs abroad are a significant investment. I am open to applying to colleges in Singapore and France as well. Could someone please advise me in this regard?
