Hi everyone!
From what I've read here it sounds like the Manhattan GMAT course is by far the best available. However, what I am not clear on is if you need a certain level of knowledge / ability to do well in this course.
When I spoke with Kalpan, they told me about the Advanced course but that you need to test into it by scoring over 600 in your practice test. I am guessing but I think I will score a 400-500 on my practice. In HS I got a 1240 on the SAT and I took the GRE once a year ago and scored a 470 on verbal and 580 on math with a 5.0 AWA. I'm hoping to somehow get a 700+ on the GMATs or at least over a 650 (I'm not sure if that is possible given my abilities) and want to take the best class that will help me not only with test taking strategy but also force me to do a lot of hard problems to get my mind thinking like a standardized test taker again.
Do you have any advice for me? I'm scheduled to take the test Dec 10.
