MGMAT Test q

by badri077 » Sun Jul 29, 2007 11:31 pm
From one of the MGMAT Test qs
Any help would be appreciated. The answer explanation states that any triangle inscribed in a circle with base as diameter must be a right angled triangle. Not sure I agree with this.

Thanks,
-B

.. well u have to agree with it ... it is not something the manhattan guyz have cooked up ... it is a well accepted theorem ... the theorem roughly states that any triangle drawn with the diameter as a base is a right angled triangle ..

The answer is C , because from the statement B u can get circumference pie.D =18 implies D =18 . So line must be a diameter . Now use a it be comes 30 60 90 triangle
