A dialogue for a talk show is wrong because she use to draw parallel in her fictitious world from real life. A dialogue for a talk show is writing in a real world.

D and A
If you cant explain it simply you dont understand it well enough!!!

What is the main purpose of the passage?

(D) To outline Oates' career

Which of the following would Joyce Carol Oates be most likely to write?
(A) A story with an unhappy ending

for 1) it s D
For 2) it is A according to me. as it is mentioned in the passage that "Hers is a world of violence, insanity, fractured love, and hopeless loneliness." this clearly indicates tat she is very much inclined towards the sad and unpleasant story or articles with not so good ending.
