I recall my English teacher once told me that the correct form to use when answering a question
like this is:
Who is it?
It is I.
But "me" is so widely used, it's accepted as correct.

That's pretty confusing.. After all we have a number of conflicting replies here :roll:

Okay my take on this:

1. SHE vs HER: the relative pronoun WHOM (who, whom, which, that, whoever, whichever etc. are called relative pronouns) replaces she/her, so to check which one is correct replace WHOM with SHE/HER and check. U share with SHE or U share with HER - easy pizzy..

2. I vs ME: Omit the dependent clause (too technical!!). Okay remove the WHOM clause and u are done!! It ought to be her, not me vs It ought to be her, not I - easy, isn't it??

So, I'll choose A.
