Vedic Maths is very useful in improving speed of your calculations. Vedic Maths have techniques to solve not only arithmetic but also algebra and geometry problems. However, in my opinion GMAT exam is not that compute intesive compared to say Indian CAT exam. Vedic Maths techniques would be more useful in CAT exam as there are lot of compute intensive problems as well as a seperate section for data interpretation which requires lot of arithmetic.

Vedic Maths also take lot of time to internalize as we are more accustomed to traditional methods of calcuation. Unless you have lot of time at hand, not advisable to focus on Vedic Maths..that's in IMHO :)
