means that the statistic result that ''volunteers live longer than non volunteers'' , which we got from studying the particular community would give the same result even if that community were not volunteering..

the question asks that even if we study the volunteering community or the nonvolounteering , we will get the result that they live longer!!
How is that possible?
because the study involved women volunteers,
reason:- women generally live more than men (damn...)) lol...
so even if these women were not volunteers or not volunteers we'd conclude that they i.e. 'women volunteers'' live more than men..
so the statistic would be the same for both ....
