I. k > 35
when k = 36,37,38,39
k+5 = 41,42,43,44
when k = 40,41,42,43,44
k+5 = 45,46,47,48,49
both the sets satisfy the condition k+5 having units digit 4. Hence k can have 3 or 4 as the unit's digit. Insufficient
II. if units digits is greater than 5 , then the only numbers to satisfy (k+5) condition is 36,37,38,39. So the units digit of k is 3. Sufficient
hence B
