Let's be patient in the analysis of the options because it requires a great deal of patient understanding to solve.

In Option A - INCORRECT Here, the use of ''religious'' is not appropriately fitting because religious'' in this context means the institution of sacrifice is being described as too emphatic. Furthermore, there's no difference in the question to be answered and the solution provided in this option.

In Option B - CORRECT. The punctuation here would definitely attract attention. The adjective ''religious'' has been appropriately replaced here with a possessive form of the noun religious'' which carries an apostrophe sign. It explains that the ''scapegoat mechanism'' is as a result of the sacrifice of the institution of religion.

In Option C - INCORRECT. The same issue of improper usage of adjective resurfaces here again. I'm particularly interested in this option because of the pronoun ''which'', would have made it a better word than the demonstrative pronoun ''that''.

In Option D - INCORRECT. Here, the statement has been distorted. No punctuation to differentiate the head-word. The ''religion'' ought to have been in the possessive form.

In Option E - INCORRECT. The use of the article ''a'' with violence means we are talking about an issue not known before now. The occurrence of the adjective ''religious'' can also be spotted again in this statement.
