The OA is D
Total no. of items = 30 + 40 + 10 + 20 = 100

Total no. of chocolate candies and banana chips = 10 + 20 = 30

Required probability = 30/100 = 3/10

The correct answer: D

The OA is D
There are 100 items in the bag, including 10 chocolate candies and 20 banana chips. We add the probabilities of the individual items to obtain the probability of picking either a chocolate candy (C) or a banana chip (B).

P(C or B) = 10/100 + 20/100 = 30/100 = 3/10

Answer: D
