I just finished the test and got 510. I was just looking for 500. I only studied about 30hours total. Don't ask why I chose the GMAT while I had an option of chosing the GRE and really thought in the middle of the test that i flanked it. well I guess i can relax now that I got what I wanted

I only needed 500. I am not a business major and this really doesn't matter. I didn't prepare for this test. I have been out of school since 1997. So I guess for me 510 is like 790 for someone else since I barely even studied. My goal was to get into the program I was applying for and for now I am accepted.

jain.chakresh, that's not very nice!

People come in with a wide range of expectations! And let's be honest, some of us who take the test are probably great test takers. No telling if we'll be good at running a company! Or if we have any other skills, really.

I think exceeding your target is excellent. Congrats, rita.
