I don't want to counteract your reasoning, but I have seen and read so many analysis - we cannot judge a question to be hard...this is a truth...GMAC scales the question on the basis of sampling an experimental question, and before deciding the right level of the question - probably after a particular question may be tested on 10000 test takers and even if you read Ron's comment on MGMAT forums- that scale or level of question is at the discretion of GMAC, and not our job to decide,
What you may think is difficult - may not be difficult on the exam.
I have seen so many questions at 600 level in GMATPrep - that may seem complex, but they are just normal questions presented in a creative way.

Multiple errors on SC, Bold Face and Method of Reasoning on CR, and Long passages on the RC are all indicators of the level of difficulty on the exam. Now the fact is there are no different ways that these question subtypes can be asked. Had it been regular weaken or strengthen questions or regular verb tense questions then I could understand your argument but when these specific subtypes come through I don't understand the logic quite well.
I am not sure what to think off, but I will follow up with the GMAC and Pearson Vue and update you guys on it.
