Hi everyone.

I am just about to start studying for my GMAT test. And i want to be sit for it in 2-3 months
I fell in love with the Ross School of Business and God help me am trying to do all that i can to get in. Would love any advice and tips i can get to get me started.
In kenya its quite rare to hear anyone studying for GMAT. Infact in all my life i am the 1st person i know who is trying to do it. So i was very excited when i heard about this forum.
First of alll let me just say that you all just sound like overachievers and i feel like an ant among grashoppers. Will i measure up?

Juliet, welcome to BtG! If you're targeting Ross, you'll ideally want to get a 700+ on the GMAT. TO start your prep, I recommend that you spend a few days becoming familiar with the general aspects of the test and the question types. Then take a diagnostic test to get a rough estimate on where you're starting, and how much work you're going to need to do to meet your target.

You'll also need to invest in some prep materials, if you're planning to self-study, or sign up for a class. I'm not sure what's offered in Kenya, but you could definitely do an online course. Everyone has their own recommendations, but the MGMAT guides are quite popular, and you get access to 6 of their practice tests. For online courses, I've had a good experience with Knewton. Take some time to read the course reviews on this forum before making a decision.
