Hi,
If I got a 72% on Math (45), what percent shall I get on English so that I score 650 overall?
Thanks!

There are some fluctuations, since your performance is compared to the population of test takers 5 years back in order to determine your percentile and score, but a 31-32 raw score (58-64%) should get you to 650.

Not in any direct manner. The GMAT won't 'remember' your past performance, and will not target you with your weaknesses in a subsequent attempt (though some test takers swear that the test is out to get them, that is more attributed to bad luck than any maline on behalf of the test).Thouraya wrote:And is it true that the more I take the exam, the harder it gets? Having said that, I remember seeing an analysis of average GMAT scores over the years, and it's a fairly steady upward trend. If the entire population shifts upwards, your "competition" becomes tougher, so you could say that it takes a better performance this year to achieve the same score as two years ago.
