Let there be a total of X penguins
Now, X penguins are feeded -> 80 pounds of fish each day
1 penguin -> 80/X
6 penguins -> 80/X *6

Since each of the penguins receives the same amount of fish each day,therefore
80/X *6=15 (Because 6 fewer penguins reduced the feed by 15 pounds each day)
therefore, X=32
Option A

6 fewer penguins = 15 fewer pounds of fish, implying the following proportion:
(6 penguins)/(15 pounds of fish) = (x penguins)/(80 pounds of fish)
2/5 = x/80
5x = 160
x = 32.

The correct answer is A.

6 penguins = 15 pounds

x = No. of pounds per penguin

x = 15/6

WKT, 80/x = Total penguins = > 80/(15/6) => 32

x penguins are fed 80 pounds/day. So 1 penguin will be fed 80/x
if (x-6) penguins were to be fed the same amount then (x-6)*80/x which happens to be 65
so the equation
(x-6)*80/x = 65
80x-480 = 65x
15x=480
x=32 ... Answer A
