but as we dnt have 50 in option so we will take only positive integers

THE ANSWER CHOICES
How many factors does 36^2 have?
a) 2
b) 8
c) 24
d) 25
e) 26

If the real answer is 50, I'd be more inclined to say this is just a bad question.
If anything, 26 (answer choice E) is closer to the real answer than 25 is.
