Hi Everyone,

Question is to those who are fasting this month and studying or did this in the past. I took few days off at work, thinking they will be very productive, but because I started fasting at the same time, I couldn't study the way I wished to do so. It was very hard to concentrate.

My question is to those who are/were fasting and studying for the GMAT at the same time. How did you manage time and how did you deal with a weak physical condition of your body? Does anyone has good advice? I work regular hours 9-6 Mon-Fri.

Thank you!

are you still off from work? fortunately, i live in a Muslim country so work timings are 8-2. but anyways i'm not working at the moment.

i start studying around 4.30 pm and go upto 7 pm, taking breaks in between. that's when iftar is where i live. after that i start studying again around 8 for an hour. take some time off. it's around 12-1 in the night when i hit the books really hard and study upto 3am. in all i manage to put in 3 to 4 hours of studying each day.

Thanks for your reply Qamar. I am going back to my work schedule tomorrow. I guess today I feel better and have an idea. I will try to study in the morning from 4.30 till 8. Then work from 9 till 5-6PM. Then very lite work out till 6.30. Then study from 6.30 till 7.50 or so (Iftar)...I guess by Iftar time I'll just review the materials/ rules/ formulas. After I finally drink water and eat food, study again till 11 or so. Problem is very often I can't sleep till 4AM. This is where I believe your schedule will help me a lot...:)

Thank you,
Zhana
