How do i solve this : 2^20 – 2^19.

2^20 – 2^19. = 2^19 (2-1) = 2^19

2^20 = 2^19 * 2 that is a common formula for 2^(a+b) = 2^a * 2^b
So what the answer u have got from ri2007 is quite correct. U can also refer some math book where from u can get an idea abt this.
Correct me If I am wrong

If u want to verify

2^20 = 2*2^19

i.e 2^19 is half og 2^20

so if 2^19 is subtracted from 2^20 you will get 2^19
