How big or small is S?

12) S = 1 + (½)^2 + (1/3)^2 +. . + (1/10)^2, S is ?

a)S=2
b)S=3
c)S<2
d)S>3

IMO C

1+0.25+0.11+(0.62*7) = 1.795

even if we take all the numbers after 4th number to be equal to 1/16 it comes to 1.795.

Since the values being added to 1 on the RHS of the equation are squares of proper fractions, their values decrease progressively.

So my guess would be that S < 2.
