I am around 37 Quant mark , in 2007 I got 35 in Quant ( Test was considered easier then & I got 500 without much preparation ) This time I am aiming higher close to 650 and have been preparing systematically on and off since 2013 for Quant I was around 31 mark . Since 6 months I Have been putting stress on quant , doing basics for Quant revising them 2-3 times using a Indian book CAT by Arun Sharma , not touching MGMAT or OG at all , 1000 series was considered too easy , I did them last time and was able to solve them since had been out of college only 2-3 years before . I have bought GMAT Prep Pack 1 and GMAT Exam Pack 1 , So far about a month ago I was around 540 - 27 Verbal 37 Quant ( I didnt get too many hard questions in Quant so have not reached my potential yet). Since then I have started revising wrong questions , Revised the GMAT prep results and saw how many wrong answers i had them around 7-8 per section I plan to bring them around 3-4 in whole test and take my score to around 45 .Doing questions now from 700-800 quant material available on net , material seems to be MGMAT material because I had given MGMAT test 2 years before Should I continue doing it as extra practice , dont want to do OG as it is considered easy material. I am not sure whether to do GMAT Prep Pack 1 now to increase my score to 45 level.

Math is all about the details. Understand that it's very hard to answer a general vague question (how do I go from this score to that score?), because the nature of the problems you are having with math determine how hard the improvement is going to be. Typically, as a teacher, I don't know the the trouble a student is really having until I see the details of how that student approaches & solves problems. I strongly encourage you to post individual problems you get wrong --- say, when I read this problem, I did this & this, and that lead me to this answer. What do I have to know so I don't make this mistake again? Do that for a number of problems. Feel free to sent me a private message, to solicit my input. This site is teeming with experts who are able to help you. Ask a number of questions, as detailed as possible, so that the experts can give you the detailed help you need. Again, math is all about the precise details --- you won't make substantial improvements in math until you make improvements in the details.
