Hello everyone,
I am writing to get opinions for the options that I have regarding my MBA. I am a mechanical engineer currently located in Midwest with over 7 years of experience. I am looking to get MBA degree to help further my career. I am looking at doing MBA part time while working at my current company. This will help me pay for my tuition and since I am paying out of my pocket, I don't want to go to the best school around and get $100K degree. I am looking for the schools that are affordable yet have good programs. I am not looking into changing careers either.
GMAT (already attempted)- 660
School Choices (GMAT scores seem sufficient for these schools)
Indiana University Kelly - online MBA
Purdue University Krannert - weekend MBA
DePaul University Kellstadt - weekend MBA
Regional Local School - Regular MBA (half the tuition cost compared to the remaining 3)
Please weight in on my school choices and suggest which adds most value.
According to my analysis, Indiana Univ has online MBA - most flexible, the education mat'l is same as their full time program, taught by same faculty. Downside, it is an online program, so the learning exp is always is questionable. Purdue program meets every Saturday while DePaul meets every 2nd Saturday. Both schools are well reputed and cost similar. Local school will be easiest but it is a non-ranking school.
Thanks for your inputs in advance.
