Hi! I'm applying to Harvard 2+2 this year and was wondering if you could give me some advice on my profile:
I'm a central european female studying Sciences at a top 3 UK university. My current GPA is somewhere around 3.8 (wiki says) and my GMAT score is 740.
I've been working part-time in a strategy consultancy where I also did an internship this summer. I also did a market research internship before uni and had some smaller jobs during school.
Award-wise I won some science awards outside of my country and was sent to several science conferences by my school at a young age.
My ECs are quite broad with a range of leadership experience (youth group leader, initiated and led a climate change conference in school, organising a case-study competition in uni, producing shows, founding a "scientists without borders" society at my uni...) However, my work experience is quite outside my science background and also quite "usual" for business schools. Career-wise I'm currently leaning towards collecting experience through consulting for the chemical industry and would then find a niche in this industry and start-up something myself.
Do you think the consultancy work will hurt my application?
