Many people feel that hard work deserves a reward. However, this is not true.Hard work should be its own reward, because such work intrinsically gives the
worker satisfaction when it is performed satisfactorily.

Premise: Many people feel that hard work deserves a reward.
Counter-Premise: However, this is not true -----> THIS IS CONCLUSION
Premise: Hard work should be its own reward because such work intrinsically gives the worker satisfaction when it is performed satisfactorily. --> PREMISE SUPPORTING CONCLUSION

it must be E why
the passage says: However (however indicates its a conclusion), this is not true.Hard work should be its own reward, "now use why test that why it should be its own reward

the answer is given in the premise next to the conclusion starting with "because such work"[/u]

I believe it's letter "D".

True joy should be found in the work itself, and the goals should be met merely by the act of doing that work.Should this statement support the author's conclusion?
