MBA is offered by schools that receives the aicte approvals, while autonomous schools like IIT, IIMs gives certification of PGDM and PGPM.....there is absolutely no difference.

only thing to remember is, if you are doing MBA, do it from a top school, so also doing PGDM/ PGPM do it from top reputed institutes like IIM, IIT etc.,

Hi.Regarding PGWPM 2012-2014 52 alternate weekend classroom program.It costs 6.5L for the complete program and it is not AICTE approved and does not guarantee a job change.Is it worth it to join this course spending 6.5L where my main intention to have a job change.Im working in software wit 19 months of exp.Is this advisable to choose this pgm ? Pls help me....

Hi seniors!! I wanna know about my chances at GLIM this year,here is my profile:
10th- 77%
12- 67%
B.tech in civil frm NIT with CGPA 7.5
extra curricular - really good, active in sports, quizzes, have represented my company in various national level quizzes
Work Ex- 3 years with L&T; Power
GMAt score- 640 ...I was consistently scoring in 680-700 range in gmat mocks but screwed it up on the exam day due to not so good health conditions ....need to know whether this profile wud suffice or do i need to take the GMAT once again as it is a costly exam!!!

Could somebody let me know whether the degree provided by GLIM in PGXPM is the same as for one year executive residential MBA or it's just a certificate course ?
