I had a question on the gmat prep test which had a square inscribed within a circle and I had to figure out the area of the circle, but the area of the circle was give something like 24. So I lost the exact question can anyone help me or have a similair question.
Hi,
I'm not sure about which point you want to ask. Anyway, I'll try to answer.
If the area of a square if given, you can solve for its diagonal. The diagonal is twice the radius. You can solve for the area of the circle.
If the area of the circle is given, you can solve for its radius. Twice the radius give you its diameter, which equal the diagonal of a square. Then you can find the length of its side and the are of the square.
Hope this help.
