Given that x < 0 the sqrt of -x^2 will be x as sqrt will be positive always.

Hence x

The answer should be -x, as
1. x<0
2. if it is not -x the sq root would not be possible of a negative number

Thanks,

Well this question has been done to death on the forum, but here we go anyway ..

Let X = -2 , so we need the sqroot of (-(-2)mod(-2)) = (2*2) = 4, Now the sqroot of a number is always positive so sqroot of 4 = 2

So we have sqroot(-(-2)mod(-2)) = 2, We know X= -2, so 2 = -X, hence the answer is -X..
