I will go for C....both options are required because


Slope of line = (r-t) / (-s-u)
= (r-t)/-(s+u)

So slope of the line will be negative if

r-t > 0 and s+u > 0 (u>-s)

Do we really need to go for C. I think A is enough.

Please clarify. If given r,t,u, -s are holding the sign, then by basic number prop. u+s will be +ve anyways.

Slope = y1-y2/x1-x2

So even tough it does not change the answer, slope is = (u+s)/(t-r)

you are right, we actually do not know if r u t s are positive or negative
so A is INSUFF ===> C
