gmat prep word problem

The trick is in the intro prompt, it asks what amount was "expected."
Statement 1 has "expected" sold, but says nothing about dollars.
Statement 2 has how many more than "expected" and a dollar amount, but you can't tell the donation amount of each car (it's like one equation with 2 variables)
But combining the two is sufficient because you can calculate the "expected" amount (with is different from "actually")
