Let Kate Charge x hours
Therefore Pat charges 2x hours and Mark Charges 3 times of 2x = 6x hours
x+2x+6x = 162
x = 18
Mark charges 6*18 = 108 Hours
Hence the difference = 108-18 = 90 Hours
pretty much a cakewalk

pat (P), kate (K) and mark (M).
P=P
P=2K (twice). therefore, K= P/2
P=(1/3)M. therefore M=3P
P+K+M = 162
P + (P/2) + 3P = 162
(2P+P+6P)/2 =162
9P = 324
P=36
K=36/2= 18
M=3*36= 108
The difference between Kate and Mark is 108-18=90
