Hi Bhumika!

I solved this expression and the last simplified result i got was :
1 - 2y/(y-x+3)

so definitely we need X also. Please let us know the source of this question

(1) x = 2

OA B
If we plug in y=3, we get:

What is the value of:

3 - x - 3 / 3 - x + 3

-x / 6 - x

and there's no way to answer that without knowing the value of x.

If in the expression, 3-(x + y) / 3-(x - y), 3-(x-y) were to be 3+(x-y), then the answer would be B :)
