Hi Bhumika!
I solved this expression and the last simplified result i got was :
1 - 2y/(y-x+3)
so definitely we need X also. Please let us know the source of this question

If we plug in y=3, we get:bhumika.k.shah wrote:What is the value of 3-(x + y) / 3-(x - y)?

What is the value of:
3 - x - 3 / 3 - x + 3
-x / 6 - x
and there's no way to answer that without knowing the value of x.
