If ab - bc2 < 0, is a < 0?

(1) c > 0

(2) b < 0

If the equation in the qsn is ab - bc ^2 < 0, then I think the answer is B.
What is the OA?

It is B. Made a typo before.

Approach:
Eqn can be rewritten as b(a-c^2)<0, so either b < 0 or a-c^2<0

(1) c>0
We can't derive to any conclusion from this.

(2) b<0
this means, a-c^2>0
or a>c^2

C^2 will always be greater than 0.
So, a > 0.

We can answer the qsn using statement 2 alone.

Hence the answer would be B.
