Misplaced Modifier:

"coming out of departmental store, John's wallet was stolen"

how this can be corrected ?

Pronoun number error :

" The average number of moviegoer expects to see at least once scene of violence per film, and they seldom disappointed "

how to correct this ?

John's wallet was not coming out of the store. John was.

correction : Coming out of the departmental store, John lost his wallet

Pronoun number error :

" The average number of moviegoer expects to see at least once scene of violence per film, and they seldom disappointed "

The average number of moviegoers- the average number is singular- so they is incorrect



u might want to give MGMAT sc a read before reading any flashcards.
